Indian troops use chemical weapons in IOK: Report

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, senior APHC leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations have condemned the ongoing spree of cold blooded killings unleashed by the Indian troops in the territory.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that trigger-happy Indian forces, laced with unbridled powers under the cover of draconian laws like Armed Forces Special Powers Act, were carrying out the genocide of the Kashmiri people at free will. Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said that the Indian forces were targeting unarmed civilians. He said the failure of the international community to intervene to protect Kashmiri people had encouraged India as the occupying authority to commit more war crimes against the Kashmiri people. The forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that even mentally unsounded persons like Rayees Ahmad Wani were not safe from the aggression of brutal Indian forces. The forum said that the troops had killed dozens of mentally deranged persons in the occupied territory in the past. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has said that New Delhi is using its institutions to harass and intimidate the resistance leadership.

The JKDFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the summoning of senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safavi by the infamous Indian National Investigation Agency.

He said India jailed senior resistance leader and the chairman of Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah by using its Enforcement Directorate and it is continuously trying to intimidate others like Agha Moosvi. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the family members of Shahid Manzoor Mir who was martyred by Indian troops in Shopian district, last night, rejected the police claim saying that the martyr was a civilian who was working as a contractor dealing with shattering of houses and other buildings.

Indian troops killed Shahid Manzoor Mir along with another youth, Irfan Ahmad Butt, during a cordon and search operation in Khudpora area of Shopian district on Saturday evening. »

The troops shot dead mentally-challenged Rayees Ahmed Wani, a resident of Begam Kulgam, in Puhnoo area of the district when he passed through an army camp in the area. »

Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan was the son of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s founding President, Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan. He was also the President of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Party. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a complete shutdown was observed in Pampore town, Pulwama, on fourth consecutive day, today, against the killing of a local youth, Mohammad Amin Mir, by Indian troops on Thursday.

All shops and other business establishments remained shut while a thin movement of traffic was visible on the roads. Indian forces’ personnel were deployed in strength to prevent anti-India protests. »

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, media reports have said that Indian forces are using chemical weapons in the garb of cordon and search operations carried out in nook and corner of the territory to hide its crimes against humanity from the international community.

A Srinagar-based news gathering agency quoting eyewitnesses in its report said, “Forces are using chemical weapons thereby committing severe war crimes in Jammu and Kashmir. Use of such tactics is immoral and unethical.” »
