Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, five civilians were injured when Indian forces fired pellets on protesters in Kulgam district, Tuesday evening.

Reports said that people were protesting against the civilian killings in the area when forces’ fired pellet on them in Qaimoh town of the district.

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, resistance leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar, Muhammad Ashraf Sehari and Muhammad Yasin Malik have paid glowing tributes to the 1947 martyrs of Jammu saying that their sacrifices would remain unforgettable in the history of Kashmir.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that slaughtering lakhs of Muslims jointly by Dogra forces, Indian army, Hindutwa fascist groups like RSS and Shiv Sena and other communal forces was a brazen and most brutal incident of human history could ever come across. He said, all the areas of Jammu region witnessed the ugliest and most brutal human carnage and all streets and fields of Jammu region were flooded with blood and flesh of Muslims. »

Thousands attend martyrs’ funerals

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and world over observed Jammu Martyrs’ Day, today, to reaffirm their resolve to continue the liberation struggle till the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination.

Hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris were killed in the first week of November in 1947 by the forces of Maharaja Hari Singh, Indian army and Hindu hooligans in different parts of Jammu region while they were migrating to Pakistan.

Resistance leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in their separate statements termed the massacre of Jammu as the worst chapter of the history of Jammu and Kashmir. They paid glowing tributes to the Jammu martyrs and said that their sacrifices would never be allowed to go waste. They deplored that the colonial and fascist mindset that carried out Jammu carnage in 1947 was even today busy in massacring Kashmiri youth without any remorse or regret. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat Islami Chief Patron, Syed Hussain, has expressed profound grief over the sudden death of party activist, Muhammad Ashraf Dar alias Irfan, in Muzaffarabad.

Syed Hussain in a statement issued in Srinagar said the deceased had been associated with the ongoing freedom movement against India’s illegal occupation over Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of two martyred youth at Safanagri and Awneera villages of Shopian district, today.

The youth identified as Muhammad Idrees Sultan and Amir Hussain Rathar were martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Safanagri area of the district, early in the morning today. The operation was jointly launched by Indian army and police, yesterday. »

Islamabad, November 06 (KMS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (AJK-APHC) held a roundtable in Islamabad, today, to remember the Jammu Martyrs of November 1947.

Paying glowing tributes to the martyrs, the speakers said that in the first week of November in 1947, the Indian forces and Hindu hooligans had massacred the Jammu Muslims under a preplanned conspiracy. They said that the Muslims were killed for their love with Pakistan, adding that the fascist forces started a killing spree in 1947 which was still going on. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Imam and Khateeb of Shah Hamdan Jamia Masjid, Kunzar, Tangmarg, Parray Hassan Firdousi has paid glowing tributes to Master Abdur Rasheed Parray on his 23rd martyrdom anniversary, today.

Master Abdur Rasheed Parray was martyred by Indian troops on this day in 1995 in Lawapora area of Srinagar.

Parray Hassan Firdousi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices rendered by Rasheed Parray would always be remembered. He also paid tributes to the two youth martyred by Indian troops in Shopian. »
