Srinagar, November 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the resistance leadership and the people of Kashmir have time and again rejected every election imposed on them by India to dilute the disputed nature of Kashmir.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq addressing a gathering in Srinagar said that India was using elections to give legitimacy to its forcible control over Kashmir and Kashmiris had lost faith in every electoral exercise. »

Three reports have indicted India: Dr Nazir Gilani

London, November 17 (KMS): Noted Kashmiri jurist and President of London-based Jammu and Kashmir Council for Human Rights (JKCHR), Dr Syed Nazir Gilani, has said the myth that India is unassailable for her abuse of human rights in occupied Kashmir has been exploded by the recently released three reports.

Dr Nazir Gilani said this during his main address at the “Human Rights and Media-Kashmir Conference” organised by Tehreek-E-Kashmir, UK, in the House of Commons in the British Parliament. He said that the three report one after the other, by the UN Secretary General in May, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in June and the All Party Parliamentary Group on Kashmir in the British Parliament in October 2018, had indicted India for using minor children to spy for the Indian forces and for gross violation of human rights in occupied Kashmir. »

Srinagar, November 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, thanked people for visiting his ancestral village in Duroo area of Sopore and offered condolence over the demise of his eldest son-in-law, Ghulam Hassan Makhdoomi, who passed away recently.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that despite heavy showers and cold chilly weather, thousands of people participated in the last rites of the deceased. He thanked the leaders of the pro-freedom parties, religious organizations, civil society, Bar Association and the constituent parties of APHC who visited the bereaved family. Srinagar, November 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have arrested four youth in South Kashmir’ Shopian district.

The police personnel raided several houses in Memender on the outskirts of Shopian town and picked up three youth. The arrested youth were identified as Sajad Thokar, Rayees Ahmed Zargar and Shabbir Ahmed. »
