Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to the Aali Kadal martyrs at Martyrs Graveyard Eid-Gah Srinagar.
Muhammad Yasin Malik addressing on the occasion recalled the sacrifices of great martyrs like Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Shaheed Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Shaheed advocate Jamil Chowdhry and others. He said that theses martyrs laid down their lives for the freedom of Kashmir and wrote a new chapter of sacrifices.

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has expressed serious concern over the plight of party activist, Nasir Abdullah, who has been lodged in the Kot Bhulwal jail for last eight years.

Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said the continued illegal detention has taken a serious toll on the health of Nasir Abdullah. He said the jail authorities are depriving the Hurriyat leaders of medical aid and the authorities are deliberately denying basic facilities to Kashmiri prisoners.

23 detainees shifted to Haryana jails

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed in all poll-bound areas of Kalaroos, Machil, Rajwar, Ganstan, Nowgam, Sangrama, Wagoora, Kangan and Rathsun, Bijbehara during the second phase of so-called panchayat elections in the territory, tomorrow.

Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. The leadership in a joint statement issued in Srinagar, today, asked people to demonstrate total rejection of this futile exercise by staying indoors on the day.

Indian police arrested Muhammad Yasin Malik during a raid on his party office at Abi Guzar in Srinagar, today. He was lodged in Kothi Bagh police station. Before his arrest, Muhammad Yasin Malik participated in the congregational prayers held in the memory of Aali Kadal martyrs at Martyrs’ Graveyard, Eid-Gah in Srinagar, today. He also participated in a blood donation camp organized by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation at Abi-Guzar in the city. »

Ex Indian minister says going to UN was a mistake

New Delhi, November 19 (KMS): Former Indian External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh while admitting the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir has said it was India’s mistake to move the United Nations on the Kashmir issue.

K. Natwar Singh in a media interview in New Delhi said, “The fundamental mistake was to go to the UN on the Kashmir issue. Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was pushed into it by Governor General Mountbatten.” »

Jammu, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a policeman attempted to suicide by shooting himself in Jammu.
