Four more Kashmiri youth martyred in IOK

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mir Hafeezullah, was martyred by Indian army men in disguise, in Islamabad district, today.

The Indian armed agents barged into the house of Mir Hafeezullah in Achabal area of the district and opened indiscriminate fire, injuring him and his wife. They were rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors declared Mir Hafeezullah as brought dead. Mir Hafeezullah, who was the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat District Islamabad President, played an instrumental role in the 2016 uprising. He was released from Indian jail last month, and had been receiving life threats from unknown phone numbers. He even informed police about these anonymous calls. Before him, three other Hurriyat leaders namely Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem, Hakeemur Rehman Sultani and Tariq Ahmad Ganai had become victims of target killing since February, this year. »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) while strongly condemning the targeted killing of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Mir Hafeezullah has called for complete shutdown on Thursday (November 22) to protest this brutal act.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat District Islamabad President, Mir Hafeezullah was killed by Indian armed agents in disguise inside his residence in Achabal area of the district, today. The armed men barged into Mir Hafeezullah’s house and opened indiscriminate fire, injuring him and his wife. They were rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors declared Mir Hafeezullah as brought dead. Mir Hafeezullah, who was released from Indian jail last month, has been receiving life threats from unknown phone numbers. Before Mir, three other Hurriyat leaders namely Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem, Hakeem-ur-Rehman Sultani and Tariq Ahmed Ganai had become victims of targeted killing by India since February this year. »

Jammu, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian policeman has committed suicide in Jammu.

Head Constable, Subash Chander, was on duty at the official residence of the Director General of Police at Bikram Chowk in Jammu when he shot himself with his service rifle at around 10:30 am on Monday. He was rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital Jammu by his colleagues. He succumbed to his injuries today. »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have strongly condemned the targeted killing of senior leader of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mir Hafeezullah, by the men of Indian army in disguise at his Achabal residence in Islamabad district, today.

The leaders and organizations in their separate statements issued in Srinagar termed the cold-blooded murder of Mir Hafeezullah as a part of deep Indian conspiracy to eliminate the pro-freedom leadership in the occupied territory. However, they said that India was living in fool’s paradise if it thought it could suppress the freedom struggle by depriving the masses of their genuine political leadership. »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Front and Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League while condemning the shifting of Kashmiri political prisoners from Jammu jails to jails in Haryana, India, have termed the move as open violations of Geneva Convention on prisoners rights.

The JKNF in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Instead of releasing or shifting the prisoners to their nearby stations, they are being shifted to far off places, indicating the evil designs of New Delhi against Kashmir and Kashmiri people.” »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, gunmen backed by Indian secret agencies martyred senior leader of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mir Hafeezullah, in Islamabad district, today.

The Indian armed agents opened fire after barging into the house of Mir Hafeezullah, the TeH District President, at Akingam in Achabal area of the district, injuring him and his wife. They were rushed to Islamabad district hospital where doctors declared the TeH leader as brought dead. However, his wife is being treated in the hospital. »

Islamabad, November 20 (KMS): The Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, has expressed serious concern over the arrest spree unleashed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

Mehmood Ahmed Saghar in a statement in Islamabad said, “Kashmiri youth are being pushed to the wall. Under the garb of operation ‘All Out’ educated youth are being targeted by the Indian forces’ personnel in every nook and corner of the Valley,” he said. “This has created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty in the territory,” he added. »

The martyrs of Aali Kadal including Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Mushtaq Ahmed Lone, Advocate Jameel Chowdhry, Fayaz Ahmed Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmed Kottay, Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and Ghulam Muhammad embraced martyrdom at Aali Kadal in Srinagar on 19th of November in 1992. »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that despite unleashing ultimate repression in the territory, India has failed to break the resolve of freedom loving Kashmiri people fighting for their legitimate birth right, the right to self-determination.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar paid rich tributes to the two youth who were martyred by Indian troops in Shopian district on Sunday. The troops killed the youth, Nawaz Ahmed Wagay and Yawar Ahmed Wani, during a cordon and search operation at Reban in Zainpora area of the district. »

Aligarh, November 20 (KMS): In what mockery of India’s pseudo claim over Jammu and Kashmir as its integral part, it is none other than India’s own prestigious Aligarh Muslim University, which displayed a map of the country without Jammu and Kashmir on banners before an event in the university campus.

The map was displayed during an anti-Partition drama which was supposed to take place at the university campus. However, the university administration was forced by Hindu extremist elements to cancel the event. »
