Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Sikh community of the territory has warmly welcomed the decision of the governments of Pakistan and India to open Kartarpur corridor.

The Sikhs in Kashmir have hailed the two governments for taking a decision to facilitate the Sikh pilgrims from India to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, in Pakistan’s Punjab province. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has said that India is committing genocide of the Kashmiris in the territory.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi addressing a Seerat Conference in Srinagar organized under the auspices of Anjuman Sharie Shian said that the Indian troops were killing innocent Kashmiri youth on daily basis. He said that India was using all brutal tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement but would never succeed in its nefarious designs. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organisations have paid rich tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Pulwama, Sopore and Badgam areas during the past few days.

The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, in a statement issued in Srinagar paying homage to the martyrs said that their sacrifices will not be allowed to go waste. He said that without settlement of the Kashmir dispute real peace, stability and economic progress of the entire region would remain a distant dream. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Human Rights Commission taking cognisance of the recent killing of senior leader of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mir Hafeezullah, has asked senior officials of police in Islamabad district to file their response.

Mir Hafeezullah was shot dead by Indian troops in disguise outside his residence in Akingam area of Islamabad district on November 20.

The Human Rights Commission issued notices to deputy commissioner and senior superintendent of police (SSP) Islamabad asking them to file their response. The commission passed the direction on a petition filed by noted rights activist, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo. The case has been posted for February 12. »

Says Kashmir is bone of contention between Pakistan and India

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that Kashmir is the bone of contention between Pakistan and India since the creation of the two countries in 1947.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar termed as realistic the Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan’s assertion that Kashmir is the main dispute between Pakistan and India. “Kashmir is in fact the bone of contention between two nuclear neighbors. It is the undoubtedly historic fact that the sore in the shape of Kashmir continues to bleed right from the birth of both sovereign countries,” he said. »

Thousands attend funerals of martyrs

Srinagar, November 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two more Kashmir youth in Pulwama district, today, raising the toll to 25 in the past seven days.

The youth, identified as Aadil Ahmad Lone and Adnan Bilal Butt, were martyred by Indian troops in the garb of a cordon and search operation at Khrew in Awantipora area of Pulwama district. The killing led to complete shutdown in Chattergam, Sopore, Awantipora and Malangpora areas. Internet services were suspended while higher secondary schools and colleges remained closed.

Meanwhile, thousands of people participated in multiple rounds of funerals held for Adnan and Aadil in Pulwama and a third youth, Merajud Din, in Sopore area of Baramulla district, today. Merajuddin along with another youth was martyred by the troops at Chattergam in Badgam, yesterday. »

Srinagar, November 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyat leaders have paid glowing tributes to the youth martyred during a cordon and search operation in Chattergam area of Budgam district, yesterday.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “India’s insensitivity is the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed.” He said instead of taking measures to resolve the pending Kashmir dispute in its historical perspective, the authorities want to impose their own verdict through the barrel of gun. »

Srinagar, November 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has said that Kashmiris want implementation of UN Kashmir resolutions.

Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said the human rights violations are at its peak in Kashmir and the bloodshed unleashed by Indian forces must end. He added India is the aggressor every time and Kashmiris are the victims. »

Oslo, November 29 (KMS): Former Norwegian Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik while making a mention of the UN resolutions and Human Right Commission’s recent report on Jammu and Kashmir has said that the international community is interested in the Kashmir issue.

Kjell Magne Bondevik said, “We can’t ignore the fact that the international community is interested in the issue, there have been UN resolutions on Kashmir, and recently, there was a report of the UN Human Right Commission. So there is an international interest,” he was quoted as having said by the Indian newspapers. »
