Jammu, November 13 (KMS): Hindu extremist forces are conspiring to drive the Muslim minority out of Jammu region by describing them as a ‘threat’ to Hindu dominated in the region.

Prominent Hindu extremist leaders including Madhu Kishwar and Sushil Pandit at a gathering in Jammu unanimously waged the propaganda that the growth of Muslim colonies in and around Jammu was a concerted effort to change the demography of the region. »

Srinagar, November 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops abducted two youth, Shabbir Ahmed Raina and his cousin Rouf Ahmed Raina from Gandarbal and subjected them to inhuman treatment at an army camp in the district.

This was revealed in a petition registered with the Human Rights Commission by International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo. The petition said that on November 6, 2018 Shabbir Ahmed Raina and Rouf Ahmed Raina were bundled in Indian forces’ vehicle and were taken to an army camp in Waraphowa, Ganderbal district. Besides being subjected to inhuman torture, they were forced to drink kerosene oil while the troops sat on their thighs making them cry louder. »

Srinagar, November 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and protests were held in North Kashmir’s Bandipora, today, against the anti-people policies of the Indian authorities.

Hundreds of people took to streets in Tral and shouted slogans against the authorities. Massive protests were staged at Tral main market against unscheduled and long power outages. »

New Delhi, November 13 (KMS): Amid growing resentment against India and its forces, occupied Kashmir is unlikely to have an elected government, so to speak, anytime soon, and New Delhi may recommend a spell of President’s rule at the expiry of Governor’s rule on December 19.

Under the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, there is no provision for extension of Governor’s rule. The occupied territory is under Delhi’s rule since June 19 after the BJP withdrew support from the then Mehbooba Mufti-led coalition government. The six-month term of Governor’s rule comes to an end on December 19. »

Srinagar, November 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police raided the residence of Islami Tanzeem Azadi Chairman, Abdul Samad Inqilabi in Sumbal area of Bandipora district, last night.

Abdul Samad Inqilabi evaded arrest as he was on a visit to South Kashmir to express solidarity with the families of martyrs. However, police threatened his family members that they would be arrested in case Inqilabi failed to appear before Sumbal police, today. »

Srinagar, November 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League has condemned the hate speeches made at a seminar organised by the Hindu extremist group “IkkJuth Jammu” in Jammu.

The JKML spokesman, Sajjad Ayoubi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that such seminars were organised to create communal tension and threaten the Muslims of the Jammu region. He demanded a strict action against the miscreants, who are hell-bent upon unleashing communal tension among different communities in the occupied territory particularly in Jammu. »

Traditional ‘Khwaja Digar’ prayers held at Srinagar shrine

Srinagar, November 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that India is enacting a drama by holding sham polls in the occupied territory to mislead the international community, and has asserted that the ground situation in Kashmir is “very sensitive.”

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said this while delivering a sermon before the traditional prayers, Khwaja Digar, to mark the Urs of Khwaja Naqshband Sahib (RA) at his shrine in Khwaja Bazar area of Srinagar. »

Indian forces’ reign of terror denounced

Srinagar, November 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the students of Central University of Kashmir staged a protest demonstration in Srinagar, today, to press for the release of fellow students, detained by the Indian forces during a night raid, last week.

Dozens of students of the university gathered at Press Enclave in Srinagar and demanded the release of the two students, Suhail Ahmad and Muhammad Ismail, who were arrested from their rental accommodation outside the university on fake charges. The detained students are residents of Shopian and Baramulla. The protesting students threatened to intensify their protests if the detainees were not released, forthwith. »
