Muzaffarabad, December 16 (KMS): The activists and sympathizers of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), today, organized a special gathering in Muzaffarabad where Quran Khawani was offered and tributes paid to martyred leader, Abdul Khaliq Ganai (Jamal Afghani).

Thousands attend martyrs’ funerals in IOK

Srinagar, December 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a grand march will be conducted towards the Indian army headquarters in Badami Bagh, Srinagar, tomorrow.

Call for the march has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership against the killings by Indian troops in Pulwama district, yesterday. The authorities have imposed strict restrictions to prevent the march; however, the Hurriyat leadership has asked the people to conduct the march, against all odds. In view of the march, the University of Kashmir, Central Kashmir University and the Islamic University of Science and Technology have postponed all examinations scheduled to be held, tomorrow. »

Jammu, December 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a protest demonstration, under the auspices of Jammu and Kashmir United Peace Movement was held outside Jammu Press Club against the continued killings and human rights violations by Indian troops.

Jakarta, December 16 (KMS): Relatives of a woman, who was widowed, with her Kashmiri husband martyred in Indian forces’ firing in Pulwama, occupied Kashmir, staged a protest demonstration in Jakarta on Sunday, asking India to end bloodshed in Kashmir.

The protesters were holding placards, demanding an end to the killings of Kashmiris and also expressed solidarity with the widow Indonesian woman, Saima. »

March towards army headquarters tomorrow

 

Srinagar, December 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed across Kashmir and Chenab valley in Jammu region for the second consecutive day, today, to mourn the killings of 11 Kashmiris by Indian troops.

The youth were martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation and firing on protesters in Kharpora Sirnoo area of Pulwama district, yesterday. Today’s strike is part of the three-day shutdown call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. Indian authorities suspended mobile internet services in Srinagar and all other parts of the territory. Train service also continues to suspended in the territory. »

Srinagar, December 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have condemned the continued bloodbath by Indian troops terming it as genocide of Kashmiri Muslims by the Indian government and its stooges in the territory.
