Pakistan’s continued support to Kashmir cause hailed

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has said that the exemplary shutdown observed on the occasion of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit to the territory, yesterday, should serve as an eye-opener for the Indian rulers that the Kashmiris reject India’s illegal occupation of their homeland.

The JRL comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said that claiming a visit conducted under the military siege and shadow of gun as successful was ridiculous. The resistance leaders said India’s national festivals and visits of high-profile dignitaries always bring more miseries and hardships for the people of occupied Kashmir. They said that the Kashmiris were engaged in a peaceful struggle to secure their right to self-determination and would take the ongoing movement to its logical conclusion. »

‘Settlement of Kashmir dispute must for South Asia peace’
Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt has denounced the arrest spree, checking, frisking and thrashing of people on Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit to the territory.

Zafar Akbar Butt addressing public gatherings in connection with mass contact programme at Chanpora, Gopalpora, Methan, Civil Lines and other places in Srinagar said nowhere on earth people are caged and cities and villages turned into military garrisons but is witnessed in occupied Kashmir only.

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and the President of Anjuman Shari Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has said observance of the Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5 by the government and people of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and by the Pakistanis and Kashmiri people living across the world is encouraging and praiseworthy.

Agha Syed Hasan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed gratitude to the government of Pakistan, its people, and army for their unflinching support to the people of the occupied territory who are carrying on their just struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) in its sharp reaction to the threatening speech of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to the territory has termed it as a reflection of extreme arrogance of power and electoral opportunism.

The JRL comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said instead of addressing the globally acknowledged Kashmir dispute lingering for the past 71 years and working towards its resolution in a democratic manner which India claims to be a champion of, the Indian PM has stooped to threats and warnings on the back of huge military apparatus spread across the territory. »

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC) has said that India is using its military might to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement.

The JKMC Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, addressing a meeting of central executive committee of the party in Srinagar said that India would never succeed to subdue the freedom sentiments and aspirations of Kashmiris. He said that sacrifices offered by the people of Kashmir for the Kashmir cause would not go waste and would soon bear fruit, because the international community had started taking note of the Indian atrocities in the occupied territory. »

Jammu, February 04 (KMS: In occupied Kashmir, Indian Army authorities didn’t allow 20-year-old Kamran Atfab of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to meet his relatives in Poonch district.

Kamran Atfab had arrived in Poonch on the peace bus through Chakan da Bagh route to meet his grandmother and uncle who live beyond the barbed wire fence in Galota Behrote village.

Despite possessing a valid permit document, the Indian Army authorities disallowed Kamran Atfab from meeting his relatives. After waiting for over a week with the hope to see his dear ones, he left for his home, today (Monday). »

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops have launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Kulgam district.

The troops laid a siege around Tarigam village in the district and started door-to-door searches. A large number of troops have been deployed in the area. The operation continued when last reports came in.

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) has condemned the police assault on its President and former member of the so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed.

A spokesman of AIP in a statement issued in Srinagar said that such horrible and shameful attacks would not break the will of party cadres, as the party was committed to fight politically for right to self-determination, the birthright of the people of Kashmir. »

The Patron of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, Syed Hussain, in a statement issued in Srinagar said on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Pakistan reiterates full support to the people of occupied Kashmir in their just struggle for securing their right to self-determination. »

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has thanked Pakistan for its continued moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris’ just struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination since 1947.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar prayed for peace, stability, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and said a strong and stable Pakistan is very important for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. The APHC Chairman’s statement came after Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, made a call to him and discussed the current volatile situation in occupied Kashmir. »
