India cannot suppress Kashmiris’ freedom sentiments: JKMC

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC) has said that India is using its military might to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement.

The JKMC Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, addressing a meeting of central executive committee of the party in Srinagar said that India would never succeed to subdue the freedom sentiments and aspirations of Kashmiris. He said that sacrifices offered by the people of Kashmir for the Kashmir cause would not go waste and would soon bear fruit, because the international community had started taking note of the Indian atrocities in the occupied territory.

The participants of the meeting thanked the government and people of Pakistan for their unflinching and unwavering support to the Kashmir cause and observing February 05 as Kashmir Solidarity Day. They added that different programmes being organized in Pakistan in connection with the day would further the Kashmir cause.

The participants also took stock of the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir and devised a comprehensive strategy to counter the Indian propaganda at global level.

Central leaders of the party Muhammad Ramzan, Shamim Ahmed, Muhammad Amin, Sharifuddin, Muzaffar Ahmed and others attended the meeting.
