Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami has praised the government and people of Pakistan for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 05 every year to express unity with the oppressed Kashmiris.
The Patron of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, Syed Hussain, in a statement issued in Srinagar said on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Pakistan reiterates full support to the people of occupied Kashmir in their just struggle for securing their right to self-determination.
He said the deep love and attachment being shown by the people of Pakistan with the Kashmiris is an undeniable truth. The hearts of Pakistanis and Kashmiris throb in unison, he said, adding the Pakistanis love for the Kashmiri people is one of the fundamental components as far as the freedom struggle in Kashmir is concerned.
Syed Hussain said that on the basis of two-nation theory Kashmir was an integral part of Pakistan but India deprived Pakistan of this part by illegally occupying the territory in 1947. He said the bond between Pakistan and the Kashmiri Muslims for the sacred cause of the freedom of Kashmir is a natural thing.
He said the roots of this bond are so deep and strong that a cunning enemy like India, despite hatching conspiracies since 1947 till this day, has failed to lessen this sentiment and passion even to a slight extent and will never be able to do so.
