Srinagar, February 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the five Kashmiri youth, martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation, in Kellam area of Kulgam district, today.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said no day passes without youth being butchered and massacred by Indian forces. He said that those fighting for their basic and fundamental rights are labeled as “Terrorists” and gunned down, day in and day out.
“Since past three decades, our nation while nourishing freedom movement and demanding their right to self-determination, has presented huge sacrifices, however New Delhi with its military might, brutally killed thousands of innocent people,” he added.

Syed Ali Gilani said that Delhi rulers and their local henchmen should bear it in mind that muscular approach can never force a nation to submission and unending killing spree and fear psychoses cannot lease for them ever. Warning Indian authorities for their oppressive and suppressive measures, the APHC chairman said that all these arbitrary measures won’t deter them from pursuing their mission.
The illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmiri youth sacrificed their lives for a great cause. He said youth are being killed with impunity and their only crime is that they refused to bow before illegal occupation and tyranny.

He said, “It is our duty to safeguard these sacred sacrifices and continue their mission till it reaches to its logical conclusion.

Hurriyat leader and the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt said the martyred youth are torch-bearers for freedom movement. “We will never forget them as they and other martyrs laid their lives for a sacred mission and we will follow their mission till it is accomplished”, he added.

The spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem Azadi said the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed go waste.

The forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in its statement said that the youth of Kashmir were sacrificing their precious lives because of arrogance of an oppressor who controls a land and its people through force, refusing to give the people their rightful right to self-determination.
