Srinagar, February 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, has asked India to shun its aggressive approach on Kashmir.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said this while addressing mourners at the residence of martyr Parvaiz Ahmed Butt in Qaimoh area of Kulgam district.

He said New Delhi cannot suppress the Kashmiris’ sentiments and aspirations by adopting iron-fisted policy in the territory.

Waza urged New Delhi to understand that Kashmir was a human and political issue and it needs to be resolved as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

He on occasion also paid rich tributes to the martyr, Parvaiz Ahmad and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family members.
