Shahidul Islam lodged back in Delhi’s Tihar jail » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader, Advocate Shahidul Islam who was released on a custody parole, has been lodged in New Delhi’s Tihar jail again.

Shahid was released on custody parole by the India’s NIA court in February first week for seven days. No one except the family members were allowed to meet him at his Srinagar residence during the day, while he would be taken to Rajbagh police station night stays,” a family member told media men in Srinagar.

The parole of Shahid ended on February 8 and due to bad weather he couldn’t be taken back to Delhi, NIA officials told media on Thursday.

The media reports said that Shahid was taken back from Srinagar to New Delhi on Wednesday. He has again been lodged in Tihar jail.
