Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has said that the Kashmiri children and students are the worst and prime victims of Indian state terrorism in the territory.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed concern over the injuring of 28 children in a mysterious explosion in a school in Pulwama. He said the Kashmiri children and students, who are the worst and prime victims of the Indian brutalities, have been exposed to different kinds of vulnerabilities in the occupied territory.

“The children have not only suffered direct injuries with bullets, pellet guns and with teargas shells but have been witnessed to all the gory brutalities by Indian forces in Kashmir. The children of this lawless land are arrested and harassed to the level that it has traumatized their psyche,” he deplored.

He said due to the prevailing political instability and lingering Kashmir dispute children in the territory have grown up in the midst of abductions, fake encounters, bomb blasts and teargas shelling by Indian troops. He said these children, who are facing the brunt of this unresolved dispute, have lost their childhood, their innocence and will continue to be victimized till the Kashmir dispute remained unresolved.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said that the Indian authorities were applying all the methods of coercion, oppression and arm-twisting to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom sentiment but would never succeed in their nefarious designs.

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat General Secretary, Ameer Hamza, visited the residence of a martyred youth, Muhammad Idrees, in Kulgam and expressed solidarity with his family members.
