Srinagar, February 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has paid tributes to three Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Pinglan Pulwama, today.
Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said because of the repressive policies of the Indian government Kashmiris’ fourth generation has been pushed to the wall. He said insensitivity of the Indian authorities is the sole reason of the unabated bloodshed.
He hailed the statement of Kamal Hassan wherein he said India should hold plebiscite in Kashmir. Sehrai urged India to give up its obduracy and accept the reality that it has to address the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
He expressed his grief and sorrow over the demise of father of illegally detained Hurriyat leader, Farooq Ahmed Dar and mother of JKLF Vice-President, Haroon Saleem.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, in a statement in Srinagar, paying tributes to the martyrs, said that the martyrs’ mission would be accomplished at all costs.
A delegation of Young Men’s League led by its Chairman, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi visited the residence of Farooq Ahmad Dar to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
