Delhi court seeks ED reply on Shabbir Shah’s bail plea

New Delhi, February 19 (KMS): A Delhi court has sought a response from the Enforcement Directorate on the bail plea of senior resistance leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah.

The plea was moved before Additional Sessions Judge Satish Kumar Arora on the ground of parity after the Delhi High Court recently granted bail to Mohammad Aslam Wani in the case.

The court has directed ED’s Special Public Prosecutor N K Matta to file a reply to Shabbir Shah’s application by February 23, when the court will hear the matter. The application submitted that Shabbir Ahmad Shah was wrongly and falsely implicated in the case.

Advocate M S Khan moved the bail application on behalf of the senior APHC leader. The case was registered in 2007.
