Srinagar, February 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Sunday expressed its concern over the well being of party Chairman Shabbir Ahmad Shah, who is lodged at Delhi’s Tihar jail.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, DFP spokesman, Bashir Aziz, expressed the party’s concern over the well being of Shah following the rumours about his health in the jail.

“The criminal silence of authorities is adding deep suspicion over the well being of our leader, Shabbir Shah. As Shah’s lawyer has also said there is something wrong, Shah’s family, relatives and his supporters are concerned over his well being,” Aziz told reporters at DFP headquarters in Srinagar.

The spokesman appealed people to remain steadfast at this hour as New Delhi has employed psychological warfare against Kashmiris by issuing advisories from past two days.
