Two-day strike in IOK from tomorrow against NIA raids » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, February 26 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership has called for a two-day strike from tomorrow (Wednesday) against widespread raids of New Delhi-based National Investigation Agency (NIA) against the entire resistance leadership and extensive spree of arrests in every nook and corner of the Kashmir valley.

The leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the arrest of thousands of Kashmiri people and threats to tinker with the state subject law, Article 35-A, were all acts aimed at suppressing the voice of Kashmiris by the dint of military might.

The Kashmiris cannot watch all this silently and mutely, the JRL said.

The leadership called for a two-day complete protest strike on Wednesday and Thursday against these colonial acts of Indian rulers against the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
