Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities arrested former President of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC) and member of Executive Committee, Merajuddin Soleh from his residence at Chirar-e-Sharif in Budgam.
The JKMC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned his arrest and described it as the frustration of the authorities. He said that arrest and harassment of the resistance leaders could not weaken the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people.

The spokesman, demanding immediate release of party leader along with other illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists, reiterated the Kashmiri resolve to take the ongoing liberation movement to its logical conclusion.
