Srinagar, May 4 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir trade bodies on Monday called for a valley-wide shutdown, tomorrow, against the ban on Jamaat-e-Islami and the recent fiddling with the subject laws of Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian government.
Addressing a joint press conference by the representatives of trade bodies in Srinagar, Kashmir Economic Alliance Chairman Muhammad Yasin Khan called for a complete shutdown, tomorrow, against the ban on Jamaat-e-Islami and continued attacks on the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Ajnuman Sharie Shian in a statement supported the traders’ call for shutdown against the ban on Jamaat-e-Islami and its social welfare programmes and Indian government’s fiddling with Article 35-A.
