Brussels, March 21 (KMS): The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed, has raised the extra-judicial killings in occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces, especially recent murder of a young Kashmiri teacher Rizwan Asad, with the members of European Parliament (MEPs).

Rizwan Asad, a resident of Awantipora area of Pulwama district of occupied Kashmir, was tortured to death in custody by India’s National Investigation Agency at an infamous torture center, Cargo Camp in Srinagar on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

Soon after this incident the KCEU Chairman, Ali Raza Syed, visited the European Parliament and raised the extra-judicial killing of Rizwan Asad in police custody with the MEPs.

He urged the European Union to use its influence to stop Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. He said, Kashmiris are being suppressed by Indian forces and New Delhi is trying to divert the world attention from human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He said the international community should open its eyes on the brutalities committed by Indian forces in the occupied territory.

The KCEU Chairman in a statement after the meetings with the MEPs strongly condemned Modi’s fascist policies particularly Indian brutalities against the people of occupied Kashmir including the extra-judicial killings.
