Srinagar, March 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have greeted the government and the people of Pakistan on the eve of their National Day, the 23 March.

The Chairman of Young Men’s League, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, chairing an extra-ordinary meeting of his party in Srinagar said a strong Pakistan is need of the hour and hoped that Pakistan would continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir in their struggle for securing right to self-determination.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement, Mir Shahid Saleem, in a statement in Jammu felicitating the people and government of Pakistan on their national day, prayed for the stability and development of Pakistan and said the whole Muslim world is looking towards the Pakistan as their guardian and patron.

He said people of Kashmir, who have been fighting for their inalienable right to self determination, are highly indebted to the people and government of Pakistan for their moral, political and diplomatic support to their struggle for right to self-determination.

General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, Khawaja Firdous, in a statement in Srinagar congratulating the people of Pakistan, expressed the hope that Pakistan would continue to raise its voice for the people of Kashmir. He praised the courage and determination of the people of Pakistan to make the country politically and economically vibrant and strong.
