Half of India’s internet outages occurred in IOK
Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have arrested over a dozen youth including Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front leaders and activists from different areas of the territory.

In the wake of India banning the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front on Friday, police arrested around half a dozen leaders including Bashir Ahmad Boya and Abdur Rasheed Mugloo from Baramulla, Ganderbal and southern districts during nocturnal raids. The troops arrested, at least, seven youth during house raids at Arhama in Shopian district.

Indian police also arrested two Kashmiri youth on return from Pakistan. The youth who had gone to Pakistan on legal documents were arrested at Lakhanpur in Kathua district and were sent to Joint Interrogation Centre in Jammu. »

Jammu, March 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an extra-ordinary meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement (JKFM) was held in Jammu, today, with its Chairman, Muhammad Sharif Sartaj in chair.

The meeting was called in connection with the growing brutalities by Indian forces on the innocent people of Kashmir and patronage of the communal Hindu extremists by the BJP-led government. »

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, clashes broke out between Indian forces’ personnel and youth after a contingent of Indian forces cordoned off Nai-Basti area of Arwani village in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district.

Soon after a joint team of Indian army, Special Operations Group and Central Reserve Police Force laid a siege to Arwani village, youth took to the streets and pelted them with stones. The troops fired teargas shells on the protestors. »

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference led by Chief Organizer Muhammad Ramzan, today, visited the residence of Shaheed Amir Rasool Kaboo in Armpora, Sopore, to express solidarity with his family.

The delegation included Fayaz Ahmed, Amma Laala and Mohammad Ramzan while talking to the mourners said Kashmiri youth are offering huge sacrifices to secure the future of coming generations. »

Islamabad, March 25 (KMS): Speakers at a seminar urged Government of Pakistan to raise the issue of violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir by Indian forces at the United National Security Council and use its influence for implementation of UN Human Rights Council’s report on Kashmir, UK Parliamentary Group’s report and recommendations of European Parliament’s human rights committee.

The event was organized the Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement led by Raja Nijabat Hussain and was presided over by AJK President Sardar Masood Khan, while Member European Parliament Wajid Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. »

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has paid tributes to 12-year-old boy and other martyrs of Sopore, Hajin, Bandipora and Ratnipora.

The JKML General Secretary Muhammad Rafiq Ganaie in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Our brave youth are sacrificing their lives for the Kashmir cause.” »

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian soldier was killed and another injured in a cylinder blast in Kathua district.

A Naik Deepank Twang (35) of Darjeeling, India, was killed and another soldier was injured when a gas cylinder exploded inside a barrack in Janglote army camp in Kathua district, a police official said.

Islamabad, March 25 (KMS): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League Chairman, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has said that Indian regime with its horrific measures and black laws is on rampage of Jammu and Kashmir and its latest example is ban on the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad denounced the ban on JKLF in strongest terms, saying that the conditions in the region had gone from bad to worse. He said crackdowns and search operations and killings of innocent youth was systematically decimating the inhabitants to demographically change the Muslim majority State into a Hindu region. »
