Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, protest strikes were held for 36 days in Tral town against the unabated Indian state terrorism since the beginning of the current year.

These strikes were observed to mourn the killings of youth and protest against the arrest spree.

At least seven youth were martyred by Indian troops in Tral town in the first three months of the current year in three different cordon and search operations conducted at Gulshanpora, Reshipora and Pinglish areas of the town.

Detentions of youth also sparked shutdown in the town many times. The traders shut their business for 36 days. We suffered heavily on business front this year,” Ashfaq Ahmed Kar, Traders Union president told media men.
