Srinagar, March 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has said that New Delhi should read writing on the wall that Kashmiris will not compromise on their rights.

A JKLF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said India has set new heights of state terrorism against the people of Kashmir, who in pursuance of just freedom movement, are being targeted by the Indian forces’ personnel.

He strongly denounced the ongoing killing spree in the occupied territory. He appealed to the international community to rescue the Kashmiris and help in resolution of the lingering Kashmir dispute. He said that the people of Kashmir would continue their liberation movement till it reached its logical conclusion.

On behalf of the party leadership, the spokesman expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of younger sister of party acting chairman Abdul Hameed Butt, who passed away on Wednesday after brief illness. He prayed Allah Almighty to rest her soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience.

On the other hand, the General Secretary of JKLF Europe chapter, Masood Iqbal Mir, addressing a news briefing in Brussels strongly denounced the banning of political organizations including the JKLF in occupied Kashmir by the Indian government. He said that innocent civilians including children were being targeted by Indian troops in Kashmir. He appealed to the international community including the European Union to intervene in the rapidly deteriorating situation in the occupied territory.
