Srinagar, April 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a member of local panchayat was critically injured after being shot at by unknown gunmen in Kulgam district on Wednesday evening.
Abdul Majeed Dar was fired upon by unidentified gunmen at his home in Shalipora village of the district.
Reports said that Dar received multiple bullet injuries in his abdomen.
He was taken to local hospital in critical condition where doctors referred him to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Soon after the incident Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in the area to nab the attackers.
