Agra (Uttar Pradesh, India), April 06 (KMS): Taj Mahal echoed with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” on the event of annual Urs of Emperor Shahjahan.

Reports said that the slogans were shouted when a green ‘chadar’ was being brought through the Royal Gate of the Taj Mahal.

When the chadar crossed the threshold of the gate, a youth came forward and shouted “Pakistan Zindabad”. »

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has strongly condemned the use of brute force against the prisoners in Central Jail, Srinagar, and has decided to take up the matter before the High Court.

The HCBA in a statement issued in Srinagar maintained that under jail laws every prisoner had a right to human dignity and non-deprivation of his fundamental rights. They have to be provided adequate diet, health, medical treatment, clean and hygienic conditions and proper clothing, bedding and equipment, it added. »

Taj Mahal echoes with ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, today.

The troops martyred the youth, Rahil Rashid Sheikh and Bilal Ahmed during a cordon and search operation at Padguchi in Imam Sahib area of the district. Rahil was a student of M.Tech. The operation continued till last reports came in.

Indian police and troops arrested five youth during nocturnal raids at Lalgam in Chadoora area of Budgam district. India’s National Investigation Agency arrested a youth of Ratnipora area of Pulwama district. »

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, unidentified gunmen shot dead an Indian Army soldier in Sopore area of Baramulla district, today.

The gunmen fired upon the Indian soldier, Muhammad Rafeeq Yatoo, at his home in Warpora area of Sopore. He was taken to a nearby hospital, however, he died on the way. »

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities today granted a family from Islamabad town the permission to travel on the Srinagar-Jammu highway on Sunday, one of the two days in a week when civilian traffic on the thoroughfare has been banned.

The family on Friday had to run from pillar to post to seek permission for travelling to Doda to the home of their son’s bride. The authorities allowed 12 persons to accompany the groom – Danish Ali – to travel but said the 12-member marriage party would travel in four vehicles and will be allowed to move only after proper frisking and security check-up. »

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has expressed serious concern over the thrashing of jail inmates in Srinagar Central Jail and termed it as extremely inhuman.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said the way jail authorities are treating all these prisoners is complete violation of jail manual. He said the ghastly act has put the lives of all Kashmiri political prisoners at risk. He urged the authorities to provide suitable treatment and facilities to all prisoners and ensure their security and safety. He said the detainees are subjected to political vengeance. »

Taking suo-moto cognisance of the order, the Commission directed the authorities to file their response before it on the next date of hearing. »

The troops and police carried out nocturnal raids in Lalgam area of Chadoora in the district and arrested five youth for participating in anti-India demonstrations.

The detained youth were identified as Irfan Ahmed Thoker, Umar Faroq Dar, Muhammad Maqbool Ganai, Arsalan Mushtaq Ahangar and Muhammad Shafi Butt. »

‘NIA pinpoints Hurriyat leaders for advocating this right’

Brussels, April 06 (KNS): The All Party Group European Parliament on Kashmir (APGK) has said that they are convinced that right to self-determination to the Kashmiris should no longer be denied.

The APGK President, MEP Julie Ward and Vice President, MEP Klaus Buchner in a joint statement issued in Brussels, today, said that they had raised their voices and would continue to do so for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. They said the European Parliament has adopted resolutions and reports, urging respect of human rights, rule of law and confidence-building measures and hosted conferences where all parties involved in the Kashmir dispute have participated. »
