Srinagar, April 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has expressed shock over the demise of senior Jamaat-e-Islami leader and a well known social activist Ghulam Nabi Faridabadi of Jammu.

Recalling association with him, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement said that he was a noble soul, an affectionate human being, a caring citizen, a religious and literary legend and an inspirational freedom lover.

He said that despite hostile environment and a non-Muslim dominated town of Jammu, he worked very hard and tirelessly to propagate the message and manifesto of Jamaat-e-Islami.

The APHC chairman said that Ghulam Nabi Faridabadi had two of his three sons martyred in the present freedom struggle. He expressed condolence with his widow and son and he prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased.
