Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that the policy of suppression and repression in the territory has failed to yield any positive results for India.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Through the elongated period of ordeal and barbarism since 1947, India is currently facing a powerful people’s political movement for right to self-determination in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir.” »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has strongly condemned the shifting of Kashmiri political detainees lodged in Jammu jails to the jails of India and called it an action based on political vengeance.

Those who were shifted to the Indian jails include the President of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr Abdul Hameed Fayaz, the Vice President of Jamiat Ahle Hadith, Mushtaq Ahmed Veeri, Mushtaq Ahmed Hurra, Bashir Ahmed Soliha, Shakeel Ahmed Pandit and Sami Ullah Butt besides other dozens of leaders and activists of political and religious organizations. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, protests erupted in Laser area of Rafiabad in Baramulla district after Indian Army soldiers thrashed two youth for not casting votes in the so-called Indian Parliamentary elections.

Eyewitness said that a large number of people of Laser took to the streets, today, and staged a protest against the Indian Army for thrashing two boys, Bilal Ahmed Rathar and Tariq Ahmed Rather. Both were shifted to a hospital. »

Protesters subjected to brute force, over 20 injured

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth during a cordon and search operation in Gahand area of Shopian district, today.

The killing of the youth identified as Shahjahan Mir and Abid Hussain Wagay triggered massive demonstrations in the area. Indian police and troops fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters. Over twenty demonstrators were injured in the brutal actions of the forces’ personnel. The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth. He also denounced the use of brute force on peaceful protesters by Indian troops and police personnel. »

Jammu, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Bhaderwah area of Doda district, today, to remember the victims of a massacre by Indian troops in 1990.

Three civilians were killed and dozens others injured on this day in 1990 in the indiscriminate firing on peaceful protesters by the troops at Seri Bazaar in Bhaderwah.

All shops and other businesses establishments remained closed to mourn the killing of the civilians.

President of Anjuman Islamia, Bhaderwah, Pervez Ahmed Sheikh, who had called for shutdown, said that today’s shutdown was observed to remember the martyrs of 1990. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities continue to impose curfew in Kishtwar town and its adjoining areas for the fifth consecutive day, today.

The curfew was imposed in Kishtwar district following the killing of a RSS leader, Chandrakant Sharma, and his personal security officer, by unknown gunmen at Kishtwar district hospital on Tuesday. The authorities also kept the internet services suspended in the district. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, locals of Mandigam area of Kupwara district have said that the troops of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) killed the 13-year-old boy, Owais Ahmed Mir, in target firing.

Owais Ahmed Mir, a 7th class student, was killed when the CRPF troops opened fire in Mandigam on Thursday.

“There were 2 to 4 children in number. Don’t these Indian forces personnel have their own kids that they killed this innocent 13-year-old boy, who was studying in 7th standard, in target fire?” an elderly person flanked by a group of villagers told media men. »

The authorities slapped PSA on Javaid Ahmed Khan, Rameez Shah, Gulzar Ahmed Ganai and a Jamaat activist, Muhammad Ramzan Sheikh, and shifted them to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a woman, Raja Begum, is battling serious eye damage after she was severely tortured by Indian troops and police in Palhalan area of Baramulla district.

The family members of Raja Begum, 45, said that the police and troops barged into their house and thrashed them. They said, the forces’ personnel were coercing them to vote which they refused and had to face the wrath. They said that Raja Begum was hit by a police officer with gun butts. »
