Glowing tributes paid to Shopian martyrs » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, April 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC), Shabbir Ahmed Dar has paid glowing tributes to martyrs, Shahjehan Ahmed Mir and Abid Hussain Wagey of Shopian.

Indian troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Gahand area of the district.

Shabbir Ahmed Dar in a statement in Srinagar said their sacrifices are unparalleled which have added golden pages to the ongoing resistance movement.

He said the priceless sacrifice offered by the youth has given a clear message to India that it can no longer hold the territory under its forcible occupation. He said the freedom movement is heading towards its cherished goal with complete dedication and sincerity and the day is not away when this forcibly occupied territory will be freed from Indian occupation.

Meanwhile, Jamiat Ahle Hadeeth in a statement issued in Srinagar denounced the shifting of Hurriyat leaders to the jails outside the occupied territory. The statement demanded immediate release of party leader Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri and other Hurriyat leaders.
