Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two Indian soldiers were injured when unknown gunmen opened fire on their vehicle at Khudwani area of Kulgam district on Wednesday evening.
Reports said that unknown gunmen opened fire on a private vehicle carrying army men of intelligence wing at Khudwani area. In the attack, two army men suffered injuries and were shifted to a military hospital for treatment.
Soon after the attack, the Indian forces launched search operation in the area.
In other incident unknown persons on Wednesday evening hurled a petrol bomb towards the residence of NC leader and former MLA Ali Mohd Dar in Doniwari area of Chadoora in Budgam district. However, in the incident there was no damage or injury reported.
Meanwhile, Indian forces on Wednesday evening resorted to teargas shelling on protesters after they pelted stones on the election deployment forces in Beerwah town of Budgam district.
