Anti-India protest rocks Kashmir University » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, April 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, protests broke out at the University of Kashmir (1KU) in Srinagar when hundreds of students raised Azadi (freedom) slogans during an event organized by State Sports Council (SSC) in the university campus.

The students from both private and government schools were invited to the function. However, the event turned into an anti-India and pro-freedom protest demonstration. The protesting students raised slogans and dismantled the stage and other arrangements inside the KU.

The administration had to cancel the event as a result of forceful protests by the university students.
