Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, five persons including three women were killed and eleven others injured in a landslide in Doda district.

The incident occurred when a mini-bus carrying passengers came under a boulder after a landslide hit a stretch of Thathri-Gandoh road in Piyakul area of the district.

The ill-fated vehicle was on its way from Doda to Kahara when a big boulder hit the passenger bus.

The deceased have been identified as Mudasir Ahmed, Mansoor Ahmed, his wife Gulshan Bagam, Shakeela Bagam and Kamlesha Devi. »

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities of Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu region have lodged the illegally detained Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqalabi, into a solitary dark narrow cell.

Muhammad Yousuf, the brother of Abdul Samad Inqalabi, in an interview said that the detained leader was sent into solitary confinement after he went on a hunger strike against the inhuman treatment meted out to the detainees by the jail authorities.

Abdul Samad Inqalabi, a resident of Ganistan Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, was arrested by the Indian police during a nocturnal raid from South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on 25th December last year and since then he has been in the jail. »

Srinagar, April 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Jammu and Kashmir Students Union (AJKSU) has termed the police move of summoning the students from south Kashmir to police stations as a deplorable move.

The AJKSU spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said so-called elections in south Kashmir began on April 23 and the Indian forces have summoned dozens of people and majority of them are students who have been told to report at the police stations. »
