22 inmates shifted from Srinagar Central Jail to north Kashmir » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, April 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities shifted, today, 22 inmates from Srinagar Central Jail to Baramulla and Kupwara jails.

Reports said that today morning a team of officials headed by Naib Tehsildar came to the jail and informed the inmates about the shift.

The reports said that a large contingent of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was ready outside the jail to prevent any protest by the inmates.

Earlier on April 05, intense clashes broke out inside the Central Jail, Srinagar, after the protesting prisoners were subjected to brute force by the Indian police.
