Srinagar, May 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) led by its President, Muhammad Iqbal MIr, visited the residence of illegally detained ailing Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and expressed solidarity with his family members.

The delegates on the occasion praised Muhammad Yasin Malik for his services and contribution in the ongoing freedom movement. They said the arrest of the JKLF Chairman in fake cases and shifting him to Tihar jail in New Delhi has proved the frustration of the authorities.

The members of the delegation urged the international community particularly the UN to intervene and help in unconditional release of Yasin Malik and other illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists.

The delegation also included Qutb Aalam, Jamshed Aadil, Irshad Hussain and Riaz Ahmed.
