JKLF leader booked under PSA shifted to Mattan jail » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, May 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained leader of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Noor Muhammad Kalwal has been booked under draconian Public safety act (PSA) and shifted to Mattan Jail, Islamabad, today.

Noor Muhammad Kalwal was arrested by police on April 30, 2019 and from then he was lodged at police station, Kothi-bagh.

Moreover the PSA of another JKLF leader, Zahoor Ahmad Butt, who is jail from last many months, has also been extended by three months by authorities yesterday.

Meanwhile, terming the slapping of PSA on Noor Muhammad Kalwal and extension of same draconian law on Zahoor Ahmad Butt as travesty of justice, the JKLF chief spokesman, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, in a statement said it is shameful and unlawful too on the part of the administration which is signing PSA orders without applying their mind and conscience.
