PDP member injured in firing by unknown gunmen in Kulgam

Srinagar, May 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a member of pro-India Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was critically injured after being shot at by unknown gunmen in Kulgam district on Sunday evening.

Police sources said that Mohammed Jamal Butt was fired upon by unidentified gunmen outside his home in Zangalpora village of the district.

He said that Jamal suffered multiple bullet injuries and was rushed to district hospital Kulgam for treatment.

Soon after the incident Indian troops launched search operation in the area.
