‘Best way to pay homage to martyrs is to support freedomstruggle’

Srinagar, May 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani and the Tehreek-e-Huriyat Jammu Kashmir Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, have paid rich tributes to prominent mujahid commander, Zakir Musa.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said whosoever strives for implementation of divine law in His land, with his conviction and dedication are the real heroes of the movement, and nation is indebted to hail their precious sacrifices. He said the best and only way to pay homage to martyrs is to support the freedom struggle in whatever possible way, to get rid of forced occupation.

Condemning the gruesome incident of killing of Zahoor Ahmad of Tahab Pulwama by Indian forces, he expressed his deep concern on the unabated killings spree in Kashmir. It is a sheer political vengeance to kill the innocent relatives of the mujahideen, he added,

The APHC Chairman, while asserting for an early resolution of Kashmir dispute, said the life of Kashmiris has become hell because of the disputed nature of Kashmir.

Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai paying rich tributes to Zakir Musa and his associate, said that despite highly educated and an engineering student, he stood for the freedom movement of Jammu Kashmir. His sacrifice infused a high spirit in ongoing movement in Jammu Kashmir, added Sehrai.

Hailing his invaluable and exemplary sacrifices for freedom movement in Kashmir, Ashraf Sehrai said that he stood firm for Islam and never followed any sectarian ideology instead pursued a mission to see the glorification of Islam in Kashmir.

“I salute to this legend”, Sehrai said and added that despite a budding youth and highly educated, Zakir Musa proved a mature and dedicated warrior, saying, “We are committed to the mission for whom he and his associate sacrificed their lives.”

Ashraf Sehrai also expressed deep shock over gruesome murder of Zahoor Ahmad, brother of active mujahid, Irfan Ahmad.
