Indian soldier commits suicide in Baramulla » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, May 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian soldier committed suicide inside an army camp in Baramulla district, today.

The soldier identified as Sepoy Battini Tirupati Rao of 22 Engineering Regiment ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle while on duty at the camp in Hamrey Pattan area of the district.

This incident raised the number of such deaths amongst the Indian troops and police personnel to 426 in occupied Kashmir since January 2007 till date.

On the other hand, three men were killed as the vehicle, they were travelling in, rolled down a hill at Mahore in Rajouri district of Jammu region. The deceased were identified as Delar Singh, Zakir Ahmed and Muhammad Saleem.

Meanwhile, police, today, recovered the body of an employee of Social Forestry Department, Abdul Hamid, in Surankote area of Poonch district under mysterious circumstances.
