Srinagar, May 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has directed the authorities of Udhampur Jail in Jammu to produce illegally detained Chairman of Muslim Deeni Mahaz, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, before it through video conferencing on June 04 so that the court could examine him.

A division bench of Chief Justice, Gita Mittal, and Justice Rashid Ali Dar sought to make arrangements for video conferencing in Udhampur Jail to examine Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo on June 04 at 10:00am.

In case the video conferencing facility, the court said, cannot be arranged in Udhampur jail, then Dr Fakhtoo should be taken to any convenient place in Jammu and be produced before court through video conferencing.

The court issued these directives after hearing advocate Mian Abdul Qayoom on behalf of Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo and senior Additional Advocate General, Javid Iqbal, appearing for the occupation authorities.
