Many injured in forces’ action on protesters

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three civilian youth in Shopian district, today.

The youth were killed in firing by the Indian troops on their vehicle in Moolu Chitragam area of the district. Two of the three martyrs were identified as Firdous Ahmad Butt and Sajjad Ahmad and they were residents of Kulgam. The killing triggered anti-India protests in South Kashmir. Many people were injured after Indian police and paramilitary forces fired pellets and teargas shells on protesters in different areas of Shopian and Islamabad districts. »

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, clashes erupted between the protesters and the Indian forces during a cordon and search operation (CASO) launched by the troops in a village in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, today.

The youth took to the streets and pelted the forces’ personnel with stones as soon as the CASO was launched in Tarigam village. »

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian occupational forces did not spare innocent Kashmiri even on Lailatul Qadr and used brutal force and fired teargas shells on worshippers at different mosques in Islamabad town.

On the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday when it was the 27th night of Ramadan, a team of Indian police led by SHO Sadder Islamabad while showing highest degree of imbecility fired teargas shells indiscriminately in dozens of places of worship including Jamia Masjid Hanfia Reshi Bazaar, Jamia Masjid Ahle-e-Hadees Sherbagh, Mattan Chowk masjid, Kadipora masjid, Rahat Didi Masjid and Dnagerpora masjid. »

People urged to celebrate Eid with austerity

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Muslim Political League Chairman Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi along with delegations today visited the residences of martyrs Moulvi Aasif Ahamd and Naseer Ahmad Mir War in Sopore.

Moulvi Aasif Ahamd, a resident of Warapora and Naseer Ahmad Mir War, a resident of Brath Kalam, Sopore, were martyred by the Indian troops during a gun-battle in Dangar Pora area of Sopore. Speaking on the occasion, Shabbir Dar and Farooq Tawheedi paid glowing tributes to the martyrs and expressed their condolences with their bereaved families. »

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday visited the shop of Kashmiri Pandit. Shri Sandeep Mawa, who returned back to his roots after a gap of 30 longs years and opened a shop at Zaina Kadal.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq welcomed the decision of Shri Mawa to return to Kashmir after a long gap and wished him all the luck in his new venture. »

Srinagar, June 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a 32-year-old man was shot dead by unknown gunmen at Panthachowk area in outskirts of Srinagar city on Monday evening.

Unknown gunmen opened fire upon the man identifies as Sameer Ahmad Wani of Khanmoh. He suffered a bullet injury in the upper side of his chest and was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. »
