34 Kashmiris martyred in Ramadan

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Eid–ul- Fitr, on Wednesday, was marked by forceful anti- India and pro-freedom demonstrations and use of brute force by Indian paramilitary personnel on peaceful protesters.

Several youth were injured after the troops fired pellets and teargas shells on protesters in Srinagar, Shopian, Islamabad, Sopore and Kupwara areas.

Immediately after Eid prayers,  a larger number of youth took to the streets and shouted high-pitched pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom slogans in Srinagar, Islamabad, Shopian, Pulwama, Sopore, Palhalan, Kupwara, Kishtwar and other parts of the occupied territory. Pakistani flags were hoisted in Srinagar, Kishtwar and other areas of the Valley .The people in Kishtwar town offered salute to Pakistani flag. »

Srinagar, June 5 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops used brute force on protesters during Eid prayers in Srinagar, Islamabad, Kupwara and Baramulla districts, today.
Indian troops and police personnel used brute force and fired pellets and teargas shells on pro-freedom rallies at Nowhatta and Soura in Srinagar, Janglat mandi, Reeshi Bazar, Lal chowk and Sherbagh in Islamabad, Markazi Jamia masjid in Kupwara and Sopore in Baramulla.
Immediately after Eid prayers, today, people in large numbers took to the streets carrying flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir and shouted high-pitched slogans like, Jeevei-Jeevei Pakistan, and We Want Freedom in Srinagar, Islamabad, Shopian, Pulwama, Sopore, Palhalan, Kupwara, Kishtwar and other parts of the occupied territory. Pakistani flags were hoisted in Sinagar, Kishtawar and other areas of the territory. »

Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred 34 Kashmiris including a young boy during the holy month of Ramadan from May 7 to June 4, 2019.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those martyred three were killed in custody.

During the month, 497 people were critically injured due to the firing of pellets, bullets and teargas shells by Indian army, paramilitary and police personnel on peaceful demonstrators in the occupied territory. 137 civilians including a woman were arrested. »

Jammu, June 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a head constable of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) committed suicide in Pulwama district.
The head constable identified as Vijay of Indian Border Security Force committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at Airforce Airport in Malangpora area of the district
It is third such incident in the past four days. Earlier, Indian army officer Colonel Rohit Singh Solanki and a soldier Yogesh Singh (27) committed suicides in Leh and Jammu districts.
This incident raised the number of such deaths amongst the Indian troops and police personnel to 429 in occupied Kashmir since January 2007 till date. »
