Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youth in Pulwama

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that Kashmir dispute is an unfinished agenda of the partition of Indian subcontinent in 1947 and none of the three basic parties to the dispute, India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir is in a position to avoid any untoward consequences of this visible danger in South Asia.

Syed Ali Gilani chairing a meeting of APHC’s Executive Council at Hyderpora in Srinagar expressed dismay over India’s repressive policies to suppress the Kashmiris’ voice for right to self-determination. He reiterated the APHC’s stand for settling the Kashmir dispute through a meaningful dialogue but deplored that India’s stubbornness had remained a stumbling block to go ahead in this direction. He demanded setting up of a war crimes tribunal to investigate the grave human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, prominent civil society group, Kashmir Center for Social and Development Studies (KCSDS), has said that delimitation of constituencies the so-called assembly is the new agenda floated by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its drooling blind followers.

A KCSDS spokesperson in a statement issue in Srinagar warned the Indian authorities against any such misadventure as it is goaded on to act by them against all principles of justice in democracy. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have ordered launching of prosecution against the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, along with ten other persons in a false case registered against them in 2009.

The order issued by the home department of the territory headed by Governor’s Advisor, K Vijay Kumar, claimed that the case was a fit one for accord of prosecution sanction against them for commission of offences punishable. »

New Delhi, June 14 (KMS): A Delhi court has sent illegally detained Hurriyat leaders, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Masarrat Alam Butt and Aasiya Andrabi, to judicial custody till July 12.

Delhi’s Patiala House Court remanded Shabbir Shah, Masarrat Alam and Aasiya Andrabi to judicial custody till 12th July.

The leaders are facing illegal detention in fake cases registered against them by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) and are presently lodged in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail.

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian police, today, thrashed two photojournalists in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that the photojournalists were performing their professional duty when the men in uniform stopped and thrashed them. They said Indian forces also tried to damage their cameras.

Meanwhile, Kashmir Press Club in a statement in Srinagar strongly condemned the assault and seizure of cameras of photojournalists in Pulwama. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi has said that the authorities have once again not produced illegally detained party Chairman, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, before the court.

A spokesman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi in a statement issued in Srinagar said the authorities are deliberately prolonging illegal detention of the party chairman in a false case as he was once again not presented in the court of Session Judge, Kupwara. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir has urged the world community to help bring the governments of India and Pakistan to the negotiation table as the unresolved Kashmir dispute is directly affecting the people of Kashmir.

Javaid Ahmad Mir addressing different gatherings of mourners at Bishamber Nagar and Chota Bazaar in Srinagar said the history is witness to the fact that the international community had always played its due role in bringing the two neighboring countries to the table and signing the peace agreements. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a violent cordon and search operation at Braw Bandina in Awantipora area of the district. The operation continued till last reports came in.

The troops also launched similar operation at Nehama in Tral area of the district. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e- Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has welcomed the statement of global watchdog, Amnesty International (AI), over the brazen misuse of draconian law Public Safety Act (PSA).

The Amnesty International had stated that the PSA was being misused to detain people without trial.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said that it had been a consistent demand of the people of Kashmir that such international institutions should wake up to take notice of the grave human rights situation in occupied Kashmir and continue to monitor human rights abuses in the territory. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): Illegally detained brother of a martyred youth from Kulgam district of occupied Kashmir is being denied treatment at Karnal District Jail in Haryana for a grave leg injury caused in detention.

The family of the detained youth fears that he might face amputation of the leg with further delay in the treatment. Troubling them more is the fact that the family members are not being allowed to meet him in the jail. »
