Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a five-member delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) led by its Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem, met the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, at his residence in Srinagar.

Mir Shahid Saleem apprised Syed Ali Gilani of the latest socio-political scenario prevailing across the Jammu region. The JKPM Chairman said that anti-Muslim forces and groups were being provided modern assault weaponry and training. He added that Muslim population was being pushed to the wall not only by the anti-Muslim forces but the occupation authorities were also playing the same role.

The APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, appreciated the role being played by the Muslims of Jammu in the ongoing freedom movement and said that they had been making supreme sacrifices since 1947. He urged the Muslims of region to forge greater unity among their ranks to frustrate the nefarious designs of the communal forces.
