Islamabad, July 01 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held an extra-ordinary meeting in Islamabad with its Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani, in chair today.

The participants of the meeting expressing concern over the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir said that the India troops were committing the massive human rights violations and were killing innocent Kashmiris on daily basis. »

India’s attitude towards Kashmir resented

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred twenty eight Kashmiris, including two youth in a fake encounter, during the last month of June.

According to the data released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, the killings rendered three women widowed and four children orphaned. During the period, one hundred and thirty people were injured due to the use of brute force by the Indian army on peaceful protesters while ninety seven people including Hurriyat activists and students were arrested. The troops also destroyed nineteen residential houses and molested a girl. »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of party leader, Abdul Ghani Butt of Sopore, languishing in Baramulla jail.

Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said Abdul Ghani Butt has been suffering from different ailments and unfortunately also developed a serious Kidney problem, however, but he is not being provided proper treatment. »

Geneva, July 01 (KMS): International Human Rights Association of American Minorities (IHRAAM) in collaboration with International Commission for Human Rights (ICHR), Indigenous Peoples Nations Coalition (IPNC) and South Asia Centre for Peace and Human Rights (SACFPHR) organised a parallel event at the 41st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva.

The common thread of the distinguished panelists revolved around the Kashmiris aspiration to have their fundamental human rights for peace and security achieved through the process extending their inalienable right to self-determination, said a statement issued in Geneva. »

Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a 25-year-old youth who was shot at by unknown gunmen Sunday evening in Old Town area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district succumbed at Soura hospital in Srinagar on Monday morning.

The youth identified as Sameer Ahmad Ahanger received bullet injuries in abdomen and leg. »

Thirty-four (34) passengers were killed and several others injured after a bus fell into deep gorge near Srigwari in Keshwan area of Kishtwar district. »

The 45-day pilgrimage begun Sunday after the first batch of yatris left for the Amarnath cave. Right from Gasipora, the diversion towards Pahalgam in Islamabad to Manigam, the Yatra base camp in Ganderbal, the entire highway is witnessing presence of y thousands of Indian forces’ personnel. »
