Srinagar, July 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed serious concern over the worsening health of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, and said although physical weakness is because of his old age but continued confinement in his house has grossly affected his well being.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said keeping a political personality away from his routine engagements and forcibly preventing him from participating in any social, religious or family function puts a lot of stress. It is surprising that mighty Indian establishment is scared of an old, frail man and feels comfortable by putting curbs on his activities, it added. »

Ban on civilian movement on Srinagar-Jammu highway condemned

Srinagar, July 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, today.

The troops martyred the youth, Sameer Ahmed, during a violent cordon and search operation in Narwani area of the district. The occupation authorities suspended mobile internet service in the district. The troops also launched a similar operation in Nazneenpora area of Pulwama district and conducted door-to-door searches.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar expressing serious concern about the worsening health of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, said that continued house arrest was grossly effected his well being. The statement said it is surprising that mighty Indian establishment is scared of an old, frail man and feels comfortable by putting curbs on his activities. »

Jammu, July 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, in order to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom movement, the Indian government has decided to shift more illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and youth to the Indian jails, says a media report.

Jammu-based English newspaper Daily Excelsior quoting official sources in a report said that the decision came on the basis of specific intelligence inputs that stay of some of the Hurriyat leaders and activists in the jails of occupied Kashmir was not appropriate. »

The UNHRC during its ongoing 41st Session in Geneva was also told that there have been lynching of Muslims and Dalits across India by fanatic Hindu mobs, ostensibly for the protection of the holy cow. »

Srinagar, July 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) has said that restrictions on civilian movement on Srinagar-Jammu highway for five hours in a day, during Amarnath Yatra, create chaos as people including tourists will suffer, thus affecting the economy of the territory.

The JMF spokesman in a statement appealed the authorities to constitute a committee of traders, especially transporters, hoteliers and fruit growers, to take responsibility in safe conduct. »

Srinagar, July 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the autocratic order of the occupation authorities to restrict the civilian movement on Srinagar-Jammu highway during the Amarnath Yatra.

An APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “This is not only ridiculous, humiliating, undemocratic and immoral but also negates the Indian leaders’ own statements that Kashmiri Muslims are supportive and helpful in making the yatra a success.” »
