Srinagar, July 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a court has directed the authorities to provide proper medical facilities to illegally detained Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, in the jail.

Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Abdul Samad Inqilabi was produced before the court of Principal District and Session Judge, Kupwara.

It said that Muhammad Yousuf had filed an application in the court of Principal District and Session Judge, Kupwara, that medical treatment be provided to his brother, Abdul Samad Inqilabi in jail. The judge, during hearing, issued instructions to the Superintendent of Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu for medical facilities to the incarcerated Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, it said.

A copy of the directives was also sent to the jail superintendent, asking him for a detailed report by July 19.

On the occasion, the family of Abdul Samad Inqilabi also demanded his transfer from Kot Bhalwal Jail to Srinagar Central Jail.
