Indian troops martyr 95,412 from Jan 1989 to 13th July 2019

Srinagar, July 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that illegally detained Kashmiris are kept in Indian jails, thousands of miles away from their homes and are forced to face biased and communal jail staff.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, expressed concern over the role of Indian judiciary and pointed out that the judiciary was helping Indian government in prolonging the detention periods of the prisoners. The APHC maintained that no judicial remedy was provided to the illegally detained people and justice was kept beyond their reach. It also condemned the summoning of IOK editors and owners of the reputed media houses by Indian probe agencies. »

Barcelona, July 14 (KMS): A huge rally and a signature camp for solidarity with the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir were held in Barcelona, the city of Spain on Saturday.

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider also participated in both the events. A large number of people from different walks of life attended the rally organized by Nida-e-Kashmir (Voice of Kashmir) led by Raja Mukhtar Soni on the occasion of Kashmir Martyrs Day.

Holding placards and banners, the participants of the rally raised slogans in favour of the people of occupied Kashmir. They marched on the streets of Barcelona’s central area and pledged to continue their support to the people of Kashmir struggling for right to self determination. »

Brussels, July 14 (KMS): An outstanding exhibition entitled “Kashmir: Champions of Peace” was organised at the European Parliament (EP) hosted by MEP Klaus Buchner, MEP Julie Ward and MEP Phil Bennion in association with Organisation of Kashmir Coalition (OKC).

The Guest of Honour, at the exhibition, was Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Chairman Pakistan Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

MEP Klaus Buchner, in his opening speech, at the inauguration of the Exhibition, highlighted the peaceful struggle by the Kashmiris and their leaders who have given everything in their cause to see the people of Kashmir are given their right to self-determination. »

Lahore, July 14 (KMS): All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a roundtable conference in Lahore to pay tributes to the martyrs of July 13, 1931.

The APHC-AJK Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani on the occasion presented a detailed report regarding the Martyrs Day and human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory.

The Chairman of Kashmir Committee, Syed Fakhar Imam addressing the conference said that Pakistan had taken practical steps for highlighting the Kashmir dispute at international level and would leave no stone unturned to project it at all global fora. »

London, July 14 (KMS): The executive members of Organisation of Kashmir Coalition (OKC), including Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl and Barrister Abdul Majid Tramboo, have paid rich tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs of 13th July 1931.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the OKC members in a statement issued in London stated that the martyrs had set a direction for the salvation of the oppressed people and sacrificed their today for tomorrow for their Kashmiri brethern. The last words of these martyrs are immortal: “We have done our duty now it is for you to complete the mission.” »

Srinagar, July 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed deep concern for dillydallying tactics of Indian judiciary and administration regarding Kashmiri political prisoners presently confined in different jails of Kashmir and outside.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said people are jailed for more than six months, and no judicial remedy or bail is possible. Justice for a common citizen is beyond his reach. »

Srinagar, July 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Personnel Security Officer (PSO) of pro-India National Conference leader Syed Tawqeer Shah was killed in an attack in Islamabad district, today.

The unknown gunmen opened fire upon the policeman at Hillar area of the district. He suffered serious bullet wounds and was immediately shifted to Hospital, where he succumbed. »
