Jammu, July 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have imposed strict restrictions on participation in any political activities by Muslims during Friday prayers in Kishtwar town.

The District Magistrate (DM) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana on Tuesday imposed restrictions on participation in any political activities during Friday prayers in the town.

The aim of restrictions is to curb voice and stop political activities of pro-freedom and Muslim leaders in the district, while the Hindu fanatics, RSS, BJP, Banjrang Dal, Shiv Sehna, VHP, Rashtriya Sevak and other Hindu extremist communal groups are freely carrying out political and anti-Muslim programmes in Kisthwar and other districts of the Jammu region.

The order issued by DM reads, “It has been observed during the recent incidents that some political leaders are trying to take advantage of the huge gathering after Friday prayers, thereby imitating large scale demonstration in Kishtwar town.

Keeping in view, DM Kishtwar directed all the political leaders of Muslim community to restrict themselves from performing any political activity after Friday prayers in Kishtwar town.
